Flip Flop
I have been going back and forth all morning (and last night too) as to whether or not to post part of what I wrote yesterday for NaNoWriMo. What was I thinking to want to do this? I am really shite with self imposed deadlines. :-/
I have always dabbled with writing short stories and fiction. A decade and a half ago I played with writing a romance novel, it was rejected and I have no idea where it is now. I do have a historical nonfiction that was published a decade ago along with a magazine article. I never made one cent of profit off any of it.
All day yesterday I tried to write and nothing came from my fingers. The page remained blank well into last night. Steven and I talked while the TV played in the background, he played online games for a bit and I sat here trying to bang out something. The post below is a piece of what I wrote. I am in agony here and if you don't see a post below, well, that means I changed my mind and took it down.
My new doctor's appointment was changed at the last minute monday to this morning. I am off to hear the baby's heartbeat and decide if I like this doctor or will have to find yet another.
I'll be around later, somewhere, trying to bang out more for the novel I have told myself I will write.
Me and Vicki make a good writing support team, huh? Although I am not expecting a monkey or anything else to fly out of my ass today or any day following. LOL

Yay! I read it - see comment below.
Good luck today with the doctor! As well with the writing.
I'm about to read below as soon as I finish this. I think it's great to post what you've written- this is your blog, after all. You can post whatever you want!
And I love your new site design, as well as the ones you've made for Susie Sunshine. They're brilliant. You really should do that for a living...
Good luck with the new Doctor-My fingers are crossed the He/she is a good doctor! let me know
Too bad this isn't happening in Feb...all the good ideas come in the months that you have nothing else to do! Good luck on the novel and Dr. fronts!
Glad it's still here for me to read. Hope the doctor went well:)
