Thursday Thirteen #3
Judy and Hope, I found this about Windows XP. It looks like Microsoft took out the code and now the Java needs a plugin for some editions. Try updating windows with the service packs available through Microsoft and check out this plugin.

1. I didn't get to bake yesterday. I'll try again today. 2. I am not super woman. I just get a lot done by planning for it and sometimes putting other things off to accomplish a goal. I also have help. I didn't climb the ladder or climb out a second story window for Christmas lights. 3. I don't do well just sitting with my feet up. 4. Thank you all for the compliments on my decorations. I do it for the joy and excitement it brings my kids. I know you all can imagine how a child's face and eyes light up when they take in all that is the magic and wonder of the Christmas season. 5. I am serving a buffet style dinner for my Christmas party Saturday night. I finally settled on a menu. There will probably be too much food. 6. We recieved a huge box in the mail today from Steven's aunts. 7. It was a baby shower in a box. 8. It has babyshower foods (cookies etc, with plates and napkins), a balloon, a diaper bag, a baby book, lovely baby toys and spoons, along with several outfits. They were beyond generous. 9. We were very surprised. 10. We will have one very well dressed baby in designer jeans and polo shirts. 11. I am now sick of the snow. I have my photos. It can go away now. Please. It is supposed to snow again this week. 12. Another online journalist is coming to our Christmas party. 13. I am soooooooooooo excited to meet her and her lovely family. I wish all of you could come as well. |

I would love to come! Mostly to see you preggers and pat that tummy but also to enjoy the warmth and cheer of your home. Nice Thursday Thirteen, Angie- thanks!

I laughed out loud at number 11.
You make me want to get pregnant. I'm not trying yet and am sometimes on the fence about trying, but it would be exciting to have another one coming so I should probably hop to it.
I assumed it was MommaK coming, but I guess not. So many of you bloggers are from the DC area. I should move out with you, but I'm getting spoiled where I am with the low humidity, etc. I did come to appreciate DC this summer though. So much there. So much history.
I better go. I have some painting prep to do.

2. I still think you're Superwoman. I seriously don't understand your focus and follow-through talents. I think my problem is the planning part. I just get overwhelmed and can't figure out what to do first, next, and last. Then I get distracted by certain people *ahem* and their online journals.

One of the best 13 things I've ever read, what a wonderful and sweet thing for his Aunts to do. Heck, I am not even one of your kids and I get excited at seeing your house all decorated, lol.

Get the fire's burnin' more snow's a comin'! Poor thing. My kids are both old enough now to want to actually PLAY in the snow for hours on end...come in get dried and warm and go BACK out! Yay snow ;0)
I'm with everyone..who's the lucky contestant? You make Christmas magical ...I'm going to live vicariously through you this year...I'm starting on next years Christmas in January so I'm never this unorganized again!

It's late-your in bed-but i'm just checking in on the Thursday 13-your list is great- the shower in the box-wow-what a wonderful Idea-
