Unfinished Business - The doctor's appointment yesterday was the same as every other doctor's appointment lately. They did a monitoring session and the baby kept moving away and didn't want his little self to be monitored on their seismograph like machine. LOL
The doctor came in and said, "Why are you still pregnant?" I wanted to scream at him, "Because you won't induce me, you bastard!" But I didn't. I kept my manners and said politely, "I don't know, you tell me why."
Then came the disgusting part that involves a glove, lubricant, and major dignity damage.
Nothing, nada, zilch. No thinning. No dialating. NOTHING! My cervix seems to be like the airlock on a submarine.
The he says, "Let's wait and see if you go by friday."
Right about now I am thinking all of you people jinxed me and this baby won't come until the next full moon which is February 13th. You and your damn guessing games. Who put the whammy on me? Which one of you did it? One day you will get yours, I promise you.
I say that as sweetly and kindly as possible. I love you all. :-)

9 lbs., 2 ozs? On January 11th and probably 21" long. kenju 7lbs 10oz and 20 inches long on January 12. LadyBug 6 lbs 15 oz on January 13th - Judy 7 lbs. 6 oz. January 14th. She'll go into labor two hours after finishing his nursery! Lucinda 7.3 pounds. 21 inches. January 15 at 3:05. Raehan I say 8 pounds - 20 inches. Jan 16th. As for a time? Argh, soon soon! I have two friends that were told no progress, many more days, and the next day went into labor. So I'll keep fingers crossed for you.

Hey, if it were up to me, you would've had this baby already. I'm bummed that I lost. :(
I've always like amythest, so unless he shows up today he gets that birth stone. Plus, the further away from Christmas the better the birthday gifts. Although originally Feb 3rd seemed like a good day, I see it is on a Friday, so I don't want him working hard for a living, sorry.
I vote for Jan 31 at 7:00 pm.

No fair. My 7 pounds 3 ounces was based on a Jan. 15 birth. You went and changed the birthday on me, so you have to add a pound to my predicition. : )

My groundhog baby will be 16 this year.(sigh) I hope that he comes along soon, so that you can enjoy him. My prediction is: Feb. 2nd and I would need to see a photo of you to guess weight and length. I'm not that much of a gambler. Good luck!!
well, my date has come and gone...but I see those February 5th guesses out there and they seem so far away...I'm wondering how long your doctor will let you hold out and I'm hoping it's not the two weeks I've heard about...Ack!
