Visions of Lovliness -But Not Here

| | Comments (10)
You know how the beautician always has messy hair because there's not time to fix her own hair? You know how the guy who does yard work for a living needs to hire someone to do his yard work? Well, this is me. I can envision something lovely for most of the journals I read however I can't envision my own something lovliness. Help! What should I do for graphics here?

I think all you really need are photos of your kids - especially the baby - and a few recipes...LOL

I'm the wrong person to ask, since I have absolutely no clue. I love what you did for Susie Sunshine.

No idea. But the work you've done for Glamorouse and Badger is fantastic - I love their new sites. So I'm sure something will come

To be honest, of all the graphics that you've used, this red one is my very favorite. It is what you were "wearing" when I discovered you and I think it suits you best of all. I love it.

Angie, I LOVE my new template and I really can't thank you enough! You are so talented!

I like the template you have now, but if you wanted to change it could you maybe incorporate a photo of your farmhouse? Or what about your fabulous car? Or flowers with the kids' faces in them?

Yeah, you can tell this is sort of not my area of expertise! Sorry!

I agree with Raehan. To me, this template suits you. You could add some new flair - maybe a bit of bounty from your garden and some more of your Southern home hospitality.

Happy Easter!

We're still lying back, sipping champagne and giggling in the luxurious chauffeur-driven back seats of the lovely templates you made for us...

I love your red, so don't change that. But if you have to add thematically then I think someone above me used the word 'bounty' and that's what I think of when I read you here.

I'm not creative, so I can't provide any input. My template has NO graphics. There's a reason why.

Honestly, I think you and Lee Anne from Momma K's do the best templates out there. I have been biting my knuckles with envy over of Susie Sunshine's templates. And I just looked at Badger's and... LOVED IT.

If you wanted to change things up a bit, I could see this blog with an old-fashioned domestic goddess thing going on. Because you're all about the do-it-yourselfing. And you've got a great, old-timey house. I don't mean retro 50s. I mean before that- like an old Godey's Lady's Book illustration or something. No one has done anything like that, that I've seen...

I really like the red home grown template here as well. A few pics here or there of your fence, cause it's a great fence, and your house, and maybe a few of your kids or of your family's favourite things.

And even if there are no graphics at all... I think it's still great.
