Oh, The Fun We Will Have
Next weekend I will officially be aged to 40 years. I bought myself a present. (I hate to be ungrateful but I do not enjoy birthday presents from other people because 99 times out of 100 the gift is not something I would choose for myself. I vetoed all presents this year and chose my own.)
And to go with it I got Steven a baby helmet and a baby bike seat.
Yes, you are seeing correctly. It is pink. And girly. And just for me.

And I will always remember your birthday because you are exactly one month older than me. Happy 40th to us both! I'm thinking of getting a tattoo for the occasion, but my husband would probably like the bike idea better!

I suspect that you are not the type to go crazy because you are turning 40. But I'll tell you anyway: I have been loving my 40's. Honestly, I've never been happier.
