What Ernesto Left Behind

| | Comments (12)
- a muddy, lawn chair, table, leaves and limb filled pool overflowing. - a leaking kitchen roof. - a leaking FALLEN dining room ceiling. - a couple days without cable internet. - a college student with a yucky nasty throat cold. - a baby cutting all 4 top front teeth at one time. Three have broken thru at this writing, 4 is just sitting beneath the skin. - lots of puddles. - relief from the August heat. Did Ernesto visit his wrath upon you?

No problems with Ernesto up here in Maryland, at least not in my area. The fallen ceiling sounds like a major inconvenience. Poor Colby with the throat thing, I hope she feels better soon. How's Gracie liking school so far?

Ugh. We just watched from the sidelines. We got a bit of rain Monday, and waited for John to send us some more wet weather, but El Paso hogged it all.

I drove through Ernesto on my way to VA beach! It was horrible but then the rest of the weekend was beautiful!

Hope the baby and Colby are feeling better!

You poor thing! We had a lot of rain and a little wind, but nothing like you had, apparently. The aftermath here was a lot of pine needles and leaves down all ofver the place.

Show us photos of the teeth, please?!

That is horrible! Good luck with the cleanup.

Hey! I never thought of blaming Ernesto for the sad state of my affairs. I thought it was serotonin run amok. Anyway, that storm has passed, 4 will be through soon if not already and life goes on. Hi Angie!

But that reminds me. On my Thursday Thirteen list of things that we didn't really need to move, a large collection of baby teeth is probably right up there. Maybe I'll send them to Kenju.

Vicki...you still have their teeth?? I always worry people would think I'm a serial killer or something. Maybe I watch too much L&O SVU.

Sorry Ang. We didn't have any damage and really needed the rain. My mother was here with the kids all weekend so I was worried that the lights would go out and she would freak. (she's not used to being on a well) Luckily, they kept power.

I'm sorry about the cold & teething. And ugh..leaking SUCKS! We had 2 major leaks here and a few minor ones. We had them repaired but I still hold my breath and pray every time it rains.

Yes he did. Just two days of rain and a bit of wind. Sorry he left such a nasty trail in your path :(

Oh NO!! What a mess he left you. I'm so sorry!
We had no issues up this way - a few trees down and power out for a few hours... Nothing like you - Oh my...
Anything I can do to help??
