Michael - not mature, sexy wasn't sexy. Tattoo Neck Jeffery - hated every single thing he presented the entire season. He should have been auf 3 weeks ago. I will never believe with the set up he has in his own business and studio that he sewed all the garments that he presented.The producers might believe him but I never will. He is a pig and has no manners. Uli - too hippy, peace and love for my tastes. Laura - Beautiful formal wear. Every piece is classic, elegant, simply beautiful. Her clothes will make you feel gorgeous. Her clothes are the kind you buy and keep forever. I hope her much success. I love her red hair and redder lipstick. I love that she did this while pregnant. I love that she is a mom of soon to be 6 children. I want to be friends with Laura. We would have a great time I think sewing together. I believe she will get her own clothing line. The company who hires her will make a fortune.
I don't mind Michael and Uli had a nice piece or two but Jeffery? How did he come so far on this show? AW-FUL.
And Laura? Love. Her. and have my fingers crossed for her. She leaves her career as an architect...to be a fashion designer? While pregnant and a mom to five? Impressive stuff.
Sadly, I have to disagree. Michael had some awesome designs through the season, but needs time. Uli's clothes were gorgeous, and I could have seen her winning. Laura only knew how to sew one thing. Formal wear. She'll make a great formal designer, but she was not the best over-all. Jeffrey showed a lot of versatility and didn't make things you've seen already. Granted I could never wear one of his outfits, but he showed his style well. I don't think he had help outside the bounds of what was legal for the contest. He's been doing this a long time, and obviously has skill. Laura didn't have that experience, and I think her jealousy and cattiness showed through.
I loved Michael all season but his final collection was definitely lacking. I do think that in light of that, Laura should have won. Uli just never wowed me and Jeffrey was an ass.
And call me crazy, but I have a mad crush on Laura's husband now! I have no idea what he does for a living, but he has that absent-minded professor cuteness going on. In fact, he looked like a much older version of one of my favorite ex-boyfriends.
Laura's husband has his own architecture firm. Laura works part-time for him hence the "I sleep with the boss" jokes. I, too, instantly crushed on him. He looks to be a good bit older than she. Mmmm hhmmm :-)

Of Uli's stuff the only thing I liked was that bathing suit where the wrap hooked onto it.
Laura's clothes were consistently elegant and understated. Michael was better during the challenges than at the show. Uli--only one design. I don't think Jeffrey is such an original designer. His clothes have just incorporated a number of different eras of style. Plus, he's an asshole. I can't believe he won.
Thanks for the info on Laura's husband. I kept wondering what he does for a living.
