I like looking at my site stats. Not because I am interested in the numbers. Not in any way. No indeed. I love seeing where all the people come from who observe the view into my window of my world. You know who are. I know where you are (sort of, stats are never exact). These are who have dropped in this morning since 5am until now that I am posting. So many of you already! :-) Alaska, Anchorage, United States California, Lancaster, United States California, Los Angeles, United States California, San Jose, United States California, San Mateo, United States Colorado, Denver, United States Georgia, Hinesville, United States Illinois, Chicago, United States Iowa, Breda, United States Kansas, Lenexa, United States Kansas, Wichita, United States Maryland, Baltimore, United States Maryland, Bethesda, United States Maryland, Germantown, United States Massachusetts, Middleboro, United States Michigan, Ann Arbor, United States Michigan, Bay City, United States Michigan, Grand Haven, United States Michigan, Mt. And there are so very many more of you who come back day after day. I like to think of you all as potential friends. Not online personalities but potential real life friends who care about me and my family. From as far away as Australia. From as close to home as Alexandria, Virginia. To all of you and those inbetween - Won't you come in and sit a spell? Coffee or tea? I'd love to meet you all. Thank you for stopping by. Welcome to my world. **Update** It was never my intention to leave anyone out. I was just noting the visitors of the morning on which I posted. The following graphic is the complete list of countries from whence you all come. (I hope.) Or rather it is more correct to say from where the server says your IP originates from. By no means was the first list everyone who drops in. I am sorry if anyone's feelings got hurt or you felt left out.

Oh, man, the gig is up, LOL! I'm kind of hesitant about posting comments on blogs (I guess I'm shy), but since you wanted to hear from us, here I am!

I'm probably the one showing up as Kenosha, WI, although I don't actually live in Kenosha - I live near Milwaukee. I'm a transplanted Southerner, most of my life thus far having been spent in northern Florida, above Jacksonville, almost at the Georgia line. I was born in a small (VERY) town in south Georgia, and I love it when you talk about your roots in Georgia. We actually lived in Alexandria, VA for about 3 years from 1999-2002 while my husband went to school, so I'm familiar with your area too. (And I envy you your broad pastures and GREAT old farmhouse in the hills of northern Virginia - you are living where I am longing to live!) Virginia has got to be one of the prettiest states in the country. Wisconsin's not bad (it has some VERY pretty places too), but I'm longing to be back among "my people", LOL! I love the winters here (yes, I'm a weirdo), and I love the changing of seasons. Virginia has the best of all worlds - just not quite enough snow for my tastes, though, LOL!

I love your blog and visit here just about every day to see if you've updated. I love your old-fashioned, down home Southern ways of doing things. It makes me homesick for my grandmother's old house with the tin roof in south Georgia, sleeping in her big beds with the iron bedposts, the grapevines where we cousins would pig out in September, the stupid rooster that would wake us up at ungodly hours, dirt roads, people who say "ya'll", the home cooked meals (although they were laden with lard, LOL!), the garden where I spent many hours picking butterbeans, peas, etc., then sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair shelling those babies, fresh corn on the cob... I could go on forever.

There, now you know more about me than you probably ever wanted to, LOL! I'll keep hanging out here as long as you'll have me, okay?

Oops, sorry - I didn't mean to post twice. I was having difficulty getting my comment to post, and I hit "post" twice like a twit.

I am your Broadway, NC hit.

I found you through the WVSR, starting with many of your recipes and pantry organization tips.

Thank you for recommending the Folger's flavored coffees. I am now addicted to Chocolate Silk.

Hello Angie,
I am one of your Bethesda Maryland hits.I think you live close by and you are always welcome to come visit. I even have a baby crib in my guest room for a favorite niece. Your story facinates me as my sister ( after many bad relationships) found a good husband and had another child after 21 yrs. She lives in Kuwait w/ her husband and baby and is so happy. Oldest child is in college.
You deserve all the good things that have come your way and your kids are precious. I love that you care so much about the home. So do your readers. You have more energy than 10 people and I do marvel at that. Keep writing !!! The bee
