They Hired A Celebrity

You know those Geico commercials with the celebrity to help speak for/with the real life Geico customers?

Peter Graves ROCKS!

"I put on some tangerine lip gloss and answered the door."

"I was one lucky woman."

Deadpan Comedic Gold!!

I LOVE this one. The others? Not so much.

That is all.

P.S. Did you know Peter Graves is James Arness' (Gunsmoke) baby brother?

P.P.S. Did you know Peter Graves is the original Mission Impossible TV star?

P.P.P.S. 80 years old and still smokin' hot.

I am having trouble commenting on blogger. Is it because many of you have switched over to beta? Anyone else having troubles?

no problems commenting yet, but lots of security warnings on the beta blogs.

And, you've changed your look! My fault for being away so long, I am sure. It is lovely.

I did know he was the mission impossible guy. :)

No problems with blooger comments, but been having a heck of a time posting lately.

Problems come and go. I had trouble initially with beta blogs; they wouldn't load quickly and they hung up my computer. Now, I sign in with my gmail address, and they work fine.

Sometimes blogger will not let me load a photo, so I do it from Picasa, and there is usually no problem with that.

Oops, delete the first one, Angie. Sorry.

I love this particular Geico commercial, as well. I laugh EVERY SINGLE TIME the 'tangerine lipgloss' line hits.

Not one trace of irony!

Those are funny commercials. My husband likes the one with the movie announcer guy. "In a world where both our cars were under water...this time, payback's for real". My husband was in radio for awhile and he knows a LOT about voiceover work and stuff. You'd be surprised at the people behind the voices sometimes!
