Where have you been?!?!?!!!!!

| | Comments (22)
Grace had a major asthma attack. We have been to the wall with meds, doctors and treatments. Please keep her in your prayers. NOTHING I have ever experienced in my life has prepared me for seeing my child gasping for air and there is nothing I can do to aid her. Being at the mercy of medicine is not fun in any way. Steven has a cold, too. No sleep + many meds + much worry / lots of snot = motherhood/ no NaNoWriMo updates. I will try later this week to catch up. I do have lots to share!

You are always in my prayers, but now I will be a little louder about Gracie. Scary to even read about let alone witness an asthma attack.

Poor Grace! I hope she is feeling better now and that the asthma gets under control. Hugs to all of you.

Oh Angie! I know how you feel, we just got out of the hospital after a week--exacerbated asthma turned into pneumonia for my 13 year old. I will pray for you and send you and Gracie positive thoughts for recovery and control of this nasty little disease. Those cold fronts and that cold air are all that is needed to irritate the lungs. If I can be of any help...

Angie darling, I was wondering what was up with you, but I figured you were just busy with the baby, or you were remodeling a bathroom or God knows what. I'm sorry it was something not very fun at all. I hope that the doctors get this under control quickly. Update us soon, ok?

Poor Gracie, poor Gracie's mother. I have only had asthma as an adult. My doctor reccomended that I cover my mouth w/ a scarf on all cold days, I covered my mattress in plastic to avoid mites or dust, got rid of curtains and went to blinds and most important ( and awful) I gave up dairy as much as possible . I have not had an attack in 1 year. The cold and cigarette smoke are my triggers. I pray you find Gracie's asap.
Hugs to you all and the baby as well .

I hope everyone's breathing easier now.
