The above is a pattern front for a 1930's pattern.
It is called the kitchenette Pajama.
I want to make a pair. I want to make a nice pair. Maybe out of fine linen, handkerchief linen. Maybe a lovely rayon for wash and wear durability.
But I don't necessarily want to wear it as kitchen or house wear.
What do you think?
Would you wear it?
Would you wear it out of the house?

Thank you for supporting me again with the sale of my bags.
They are all sold and I am working on another grouping of colors.
Look for them next week.
I think they're lovely! I would definitely wear them out of the house.
I don't know about you but I don't wear heels wiht my pjs! : ) They are really cute and look like real clothes - def not like pjs. I'd wear them.
Is that all one piece like a jump suit? Probably would not wear it, because the idea of having to take it off to go to the bathroom is a hassle. It is cute, and you are tall enough to wear it and look good in it.
Random question: If you had a very expensive dress that needed hemming and had 2 pairs of shoes that would go well with it, but they are different heel heights. Would you wear the shorter ones to get it hemmed and then when you wanted to wear the other ones it would be a wee bit short, or the taller ones and let them drag if you changed shoes? Heel diff is about 3/4". (yes, it is pathetic I am so indecisive)
I LOVE them and think they are gorgeous!!
But I would also have a problem with striping down to go to the potty. That is why I stopped wearing overalls when they were in style.....well, that and the fact that overalls look best on farmers and children :)
~K!
Love the enthusiasm but heck no. As a big girl I do not wear attached clothing. Great styling if the top was a top and is separated from the bottoms, but otherwise I wouldn't even were it around the house. Think oompa loompa.
But they aren't for me, so what do YOU think?

sorry for the double post - I swear my computer did it! Really!
I'd wear the blue version everywhere (Dots! How can you not love the dotted pants?!)but ONLY if it was not a one-piece.
Not a one piece, no. Mostly due to potty issues. But they are gorgeous.
If it comes in two pieces, then YES. I would wear it outside the house.
My biggest issues with wearing this style is that I am short (5'4") - and sturdy. I would wear the pants with a longer shirt.
I LOVE that ood pattern illustratation! Yes, I would definitely wear that out - especially in nice linen!
I LOVE that old pattern illustratation! Yes, I would definitely wear that out - especially in nice linen!
It would be so cute on you ! I have a problem w/one piece outfits. Also the girls would not fit.
Go for it ! You are so creative.
I definitely would wear that.. even in the colours shown in the illustration. Only... I couldn't wear high heel shoes. hehe cause I can't walk in heels!
I wish I was that talented. I have a sewing machine sitting behind me, and I don't even know how to turn it on!
Absolutely! That's gorgeous- two tones of natural linen-one light and one darker- ooh! delicious. I love it. Glad to see your seeds have all sprouted!
I'd wear it but would I have to take the whole thing off to go to the bathroom?
I'm lazy ;-)
