There are times in a woman's life when bacon is not the answer.

This is the answer for the entire week.

I'll run out and get 2 more bottles! One for me. One for you. Everyone else may have to share! Bring your knitting. I am crocheting a baby blanket for a gift.

Is it bad that if I had both of those right now, (at 8:06am) I would consume both, completely? NAH!

That cake looks fabulous!!

Thank god I'm not the only one that feels like that some weeks!

yum-o

If I could eat or drink wine right now - or join you without killing you - I'd join you.

Wheee, you're back! There is nothing red wine and chocolate can't cure. (And I'm sending an award your way!)

I love the combination and it should be a major food group.

I'd throw in a bottle of Pomegranate wine for good measure.

Please post the recipe for that cake...

Yummy! The 2 important food groups alocohol and chocolate. They both fight heart disease so I am sure it has to be twice as good as just having the cake or wine seperately. I hope that the world is treating you kindly.
Now,sit back and let me do the pouring...
Salud !!!!

did you make that cake? it looks awesome. I buy one very similar to that one from Costco and it is called the All American Chocolate Cake. It is fabulous!

Mmmm! That chocolate cake looks so damn good! The wine is just a bonus with all that yumminess!

I'd like some of each, but my dinner tonight was excellent: Pinto bean soup, salad and cornbread, followed by home made apple pie. Maybe the cake and wine are for midnight snack???!

That is the cake, Kate! Cheaper to buy it than to make it!

Oh boy! sounds like you had quite a week!

yes it really is. My mom always says that this cake is incredible and she could not even make it for that price!

Ahh. I know the feeling. I bought three packages of little cookie/cracker things at breakfast this morning and had the chocolate ones for lunch. The only thing for lunch. Can I come over for the cake tonight? It would round out the day really well!

As I sit here in the hospital room with my youngest in yet another asthma related admission, this is just what the Dr.(Angie) has prescribed. I am off to the cafeteria for a hearty slice of the decadent choc cake I saw in the hospital bakery at lunchtime! No red here but a big carton of WHOLE milk will go perfectly!
