Up - The Movie
Late yesterday afternoon heavy thunderstorms rolled in complete with crashing thunder and sharp lightening strikes. The blowing rain caused us to close down many of the windows and of course the cooling breeze was stiffled. Instead of sitting around sweating while the electricity flashed off and on I decided to take the kids to the movie. I have been wanting to see Pixar's newest and so we did.

I won't give any spoilers. You can see the trailer here.
This is a beautiful movie. It is heart warming and nostalgic. I admit to laughing as well as shedding a tear or two.
I am in love with Carl and Ellie and their story. I know you will be also.

Don't wait for the DVD. Don't wait for an excuse to take your kids to go see it. Don't have kids? Go see it anyway.
When it is released on DVD I will be buying a copy for myself to enjoy and not on a pretense for my kids.

Go see it. You'll be glad you did.

I have been wanting to see it since I saw the trailers. Thanks for the review.
Judy, there was a couple sitting in front of us, maybe in their late 30's. The guy cried and the wife comforted him through the movie. It made my heart melt a little bit.
Really?? It looked so blah when I saw the previews but all I keep hearing about it are rave reviews. Huh.
You need to see it. You don't even have to take your girls. Go. I promise you a beautiful story.
I didn't want to see this after seeing the trailers but I'll take your word for it and give it a try once back in Florida. I LOVE your herb pots! And I'm all over not buying expensive products when there are good homemade alternatives. But here's a question- isn't sugar scrub sticky? I mean, I know you rinse off well, but I'm thinking oily, sticky. I would definitely use it as a foot scrub...
The idea is to exfoliate and invigorate your skin. You can cut back on the oil a little if you don't need to moisturize heavily. I hate an ashy look and I always need more in spring and summer. If you scrub up with it first and allow the oils to soak into your skin while you shampoo it rinses away and if you find your skin is still too oily use your shower gel/soap etc and wash it off. You will still have benefited from exfoliating and feeding your skin with the oil for even a few minutes in a hot shower. I make homemade soaps in the same scents to coordinate my bath. :)
