Our cable went out yesterday at 3:30pm. At 5 I called and got a recorded message: "If you are a resident of County A, County B, County C, County D and County E there is no need for you to stay on the line. We are aware of technical issues with internet services and are working to correct the problem." At midnight there was still no service. I had a meeting with the custom cabinet guy. He can indeed meet my budget. He understands exactly what I want. He even said he could begin the job September 1 and finish up in 2 months or less. He does incredible work. Some of the most beautiful pieces I have ever seen. He also reeked of alcohol. I am now trying to decide if I want to work with a man who stinks of liquor before 11 am. If the past has taught me nothing it is you should never trust a drunk. It rained again all day long. It is still rainy now. I guess we will mop and wax floors today -unless I find a book to read.
