Wagon vs. Virus

Last month when that horrid virus attacked me I was still on the wagon. Actually hanging on for dear life.

The virus then swept through every member of this house. I was forced to care for them all and in some cases clean up after them. It was the longest 4 days ever when the baby got it. Diapers diapers diapers. That says it all.

Up to that point I was really doing great. I was loosing weight. I was in a great routine of salads and lean meats and drinking lots of water.

After the virus, everything I had eaten in the week before make me sicker to even think about it.

The only things I could keep down was bread, potatoes, milk - you know the white foods. Also the high carb foods.

I am just now able to look at a salad without a full body shiver.

It has been slow going to get to here and now.

I am now back on the wagon. The weight loss has resumed.

At some points I could almost cry and the time and the long road to get to where I was had been so suddenly derailed.

It is so very hard to start over again. I lost all of the momentum I had. Now I am building a new head of steam and trying to chug onward.

Wish me well.

I think this time it is even harder to get going again.

Good for you! it is sooo hard to get back on track. But you just have to think about how you will feel and look once you reach your goal.
I admire your committment, I know how tough it is.
Good luck,
Marcie

You can do it! You can! I'm doing it too. But not Atkins. My food/exercise journal can be found here. Today was day 1. 80 lbs to go. *start waving bye bye!*
